Quoting Trevor Young Yea after seeing the pictures, the engine and tender are too tall. I personally would have used the large drivers and for the pilot wheels I would have used the BBB small wheels. The tender is just too tall. The tender should be maybe half an inch to an inch below the top of the coach. (All measurements are for your model.)
perhaps i could just make the coach larger it looks like i will have to change the wheels

Quoting Trevor Young Either a motor like the Emerald Night or maybe like my General with a bogey motor. Just switch the wheels with the drivers.
hmm i will try that when i get the money at the moment is is for static display as the connecting rods are rough and unreliable and the wheels are very slippery is there any way i can prevent this happening?

Quoting Trevor Young Oh wow. Yea I have a small oval of 9V track, 1 box of 9V switches, half a circle of RC curves, 1 box of RC switches, like 3 boxes worth of RC straight, and like 32 flex. Yea a good amount.
i was wondering how would you motorise this loco if you could?
