Spacey Base (Tribute to David Alexander Smith)
This is a tribute to David Alexander Smith and his awesome retro/space creations!
About this creation

Here is a spaceman picking a strange alien berry, FOR SCIENCE!

And here is a strange alien plant that eats people alive.(Don't ask me how because I don't know)

This guy is examining another plant. (But he should be saying goodbye to his hands right now)

A nice looking green and blue plant, the green tastes like candy the blue tastes like gorilla spit. Am I giving too much background information?

Blurry cockpit lookout thing! In honor of David's wonderful use of X-Pods.

Hidden planty plant.

Say halloo to captain pie!(He won't accept hello just halloo)

These are the slushee machines. Obviosly command wasn't thinking much about the imminent danger at hand.(you'd think they learned they're lesson after Venus)

Kernel O Popcorn surveys the landscape. (You see what I did there?)

Pedal powered space scooter and fueling station. (The fuel is actually pure liquid caffeine for the spacemen to drink so they can pedal faster :)

This is not for communicating, it's for satelite TV.

Here is the collecty sled.

And here is the scooter.

"Should I eat it?"

Thank you to everyone who views and comments but most of all, thank you David Alexander smith for your creations That inspired me to build this. (I think David is the most active person on MOCpages)

Quoting Zach Jones I hear everyone mention them, they look cool, and I can never find them in LDD. What is it? its the X-Pod, what is it really and does it have another name?
Well I think they were released in 2005, X pods were basically small sets with different themes Robo pod, Wild pod, Areo pod, and Auto pod were the first generation of x-pod. If you want to look it up you can put in robo pod on peerons search engine. Thanks for liking =)

Quoting David Alexander Smith Thanks so much! I'm really touched by the tribute. You nailed some of my core style elements here. Obviously I love the x pod usage - that piece has so many uses. The yellow (cheese) moon rock is awesome. Kernel O'Popcorn is a pun anyone would be happy with. Cheers again; and glad you get a kick out of my builds.
