About this creation

Yep another poem vig. I had some one point out, I made spring, summer, and winter vigs for this couple, but no fall vig. (each vig can be viewed by clicking on the respective names.)

So as the northern hemisphere turns to fall, I made this little vig. When I was writing the poem for it tho, a love poem didn't seem to fit. In the end, I got a brilliant idea to do a concrete poem. For those of you unfamiliar with poetry, a concrete poem is a poem that is written in the shape of what it is describing.

Now a word on concrete poems. They are fun to do and simple, but when you try and type them in a word processor, things can become frustrating. So here is the picture of the original poem.

The CRUNCHY Leaf

As summer turns to fall
Leaves change one and all

Yellow, Orange, Brown, and Red,
In the trees above my head.

Then they fall from the sky
On the wind they do fly

When on the ground they land,
make a painting O so grand

Upon the sidewalk they stray,
where we do play,

STOMP, CRUNCH!

She is jumping on leaves, and he is kicking some down the street. I have no real fall clothing, so he got the Hogwarts treatment :)

The tree originally only had red leaves, but after showing it to one of my "critics" they advised me to add yellow and orange. Plus the red flowers.

I also only had the green part, and the sidewalk, but then I wanted to add leaves in the gutter,(see below) but to do that, I had to add the road, which kept expanding.

Leaves in the gutter, they always seem to pile up in the gutters.

Shrubbery, and rock wall.

The tree. Pretty simple, I really wanted the top to look good, so I came up with the design to put the branches up instead of out.

Don't they make a good couple? I think so.

Thanks! Well it originally started as just love, but after the winter one, it turned into seasons too. Winter has to be my favorite too.

I happen to notice you typed "Shrub" not "Bushes" or "Plants" and from what you stated about the northern hemisphere that led me to believe I had found a true English MOCer, a like for you sir! Or maybe two? Perhaps a "Favorite Builder"? From me you never know. . .

Thanks for your kind words :) I did say shrub, but I am not a true english "Britain" MOCer if that is what you mean. Just a North American that had a really good english teacher.
