Hey guys, it's been a wile. So; this is the Mirage GT, this time the moc is a design of my own and not a replica of a real car. I'm very happy with the way it turned out. Mostly I worked on the proportions of the body of the car and getting the looks right!!! Technic features are quit simple, but they work really well: 12 cylinder flat engine, 4 speed gearbox with linkage shift, full independent suspension on 4 wheels, and rear traction with open differential. Hope you like it as much as I do !!!! ENJOY !!!!
About this creation






For the chassis I worked on a double frame structure which makes that car very rigid.
For the first time I used a linkage shift system for the gearbox; I chose this system so I could lower the shifter on to a more realistic position.

Very well done. I like how the front suspension and steering are under the Flat 12; great setup. Can we get a little more detail on the gearbox?

This is EPIC! The bodywork is fantastic, rarely do people pull off their own designs in Technic so well. All the features are as you'd expect to find them on an official Lego Technic set, and they look very well engineered too. A 10/10 creation : )

A wonderful creation. Reminds me of a 599, I think because of the body shape. I've never tried building a large technic car, nor do I intend to, but I'm guessing its not easy. I really like the rear, and the last photo is great. Really good presentation, too. Awesome build :)

From where I see it, it looks like a combination of The front part of a Mercedes CL, the middle part of a citroen C5 and the back of a Ferrari FF.

Wow this is good, really good. Excellent shape from all angles. That rear diffuser is fantastic and I love the rear wheel arches. I also like the amount of technical functions, not a big fan of power functions or pneumatics. Does it have hand of God steering? Either way this is an excellent moc and if it was an official set I would buy straight away.

Keep creating your own cars, because I like them better than replicas. This looks like a nice model, although I can not say much about the technical aspects. The aesthetics are pretty good and the model looks agressive. The rear reminds me a bit of a Ferrari 458. Overal nice work! (And thanks for your kind words on my technic car)
