About this creation
The Viking Ship Museum in Roskilde is the Danish national museum for ships, seafaring and boatbuilding in the prehistoric and medieval period and opened in 1969. The hall was designed by architect Erik Christian Sørensen and built in the late 1960s as a big display around five Viking ships from Skuldelev. The hall was listed in 1997, which is very unusual for so young a building. You can see the real museum here:
