A-10 Warthog, Thunderbolt II, Tank buster. (Lotta nicknames, huh?)
The A-10 Warthog
About this creation
The A-10 was Invented by Fairchild Republic during the Cold War, And has fought in Operations Desert Storm, Anaconda, Iraqi freedom, and the Kosovo war. They are capable of flying with one half of the wing, one engine, and a tailplane gone. They were responsible for over half Iraq's Artilery losses,( Which includes Tanks, AA weapons, Ect,) during Operations Desert storm and Iraqi freedom. A-10s are very low tech, containing only a GPS. Because of this, the A-10 has a fairly high freindly fire rate, having killed 6 Allied soldiers during Desert Storm. They have kept there place as the top Attack aircraft around.

Thanks for the comment on my F-18. You were right, I got some of them confused. Anyway this tank killer (yet another nickname) is very nice and well done. I like the front the best, the A-10 is such a beast. The only problem is that the bombs on it are blue, red and yellowish. It makes it look awkward. Overall very nice.

Yes, this A-10 is better than you give yourself credit for. The fuselage is NOT too tall. The A-10's fuselage is actually pretty tall compared to width. It looks too short/squished, but I think thats due to the over sized vertical stabilizers and the engines seem a little too big, buuuuut awesome job. Also, if you still have it together and/or are planning on rebuilding, might i suggest offsetting the 30mm cannon in the nose to the port side( look at a front picture of a real one.). oh also, the main landing gear ( on the wings) need to be in "pods"...but im sure you know all that. love it!

It's way better than you think! The A-10 shape is definetly there but there are a few inaccuracies - the feusalage is a bit too tall and the vertical fins are over sized and there may be some minor proportion issues - but who really cares anyway right?. In grey it would look great as the engines wouldn't stand out so much and it would be a correct color scheme - but I can't down mark it because you don't have tonnes of lego (even though I do, I haven't done such a good job on mine!)Alex.

Fiendly fire? What are you calling my troops?! Like I told you in person, you really need to smooth it out and the wings need some work. Now hurry up and fix it, or I will throw you off the dock! >:-) *Grins Evilly* -- -- Michael
