Batwing
The Batwing! Batman's awesome air craft. This is a super fast machine and loaded with lots of fire power
About this creation
Cockpit

Computer Monitor, Radar and a few other buttons, and if you look closely you can see a batarang.

I cant remember how many hours this project took me, all I know is that it took about a total of 5 days. I worked on it for three days straight and stopped because I didnt have the pieces I needed. After a while I got the pieces I needed. The body style came from the Batwing Lego set 6863, but it looked to plain, it didnt look lethal enough. I widened out the cock pit more to add the computer and other computer gadgets, a batarang and a missile controller with binoculars, and turbo engines one the left and right, and two red bombs on the left and right. I wanted to go for the 1989 style Batwing from 1989 Batman with Jack Nicholson and Michale Keaton. Well I hope the body and everything else looks good.

Quoting DANIEL REDD Thanks for the information about this Batwing.I downloaded the instruction for the set 6863 and I was wondering how much of this Batwing did you use before you started to modify it?I looked at the pictures and figured out most of the pieces but the only problem I'm having is what pieces are on the bottom.I see some of them but not all of them, would you by chance have any pictures of the whole bottom?Any help that you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again for your help and I hope to hear from you ASAP.I'm getting the pieces now to try and reproduce your Batwing-wish me luck.
Awesome! The pictures that I posted are the only pictures I have, but the bottom is pretty plane, it's mostly plates and a few wedge plates. But the front middle there's an inward slope between the ears, and the rear is about the same style from the set, and there's also an inward slope on the bottom to give it a curvish look. But I'm sorry, I wish I had more to help you out.

Quoting DANIEL REDD Do you have a LDD file for this build?I really, really, really want to build this Batwing. Thanks and I hope you reply ASAP.
I'm sorry, but I don't have instructions or an LDD file for the batwing. But I used the batwing model from lego batman set 6863, from there I just modified it. But I destroyed this style and went for the 1989 Batwing model from Tim Burton, and I must say it was a successful project. But feel free to look at the pictures to build this model, and I hope you can build it.
