About this creation
I've always wanted to make The Tumbler from Batman Begins / The Dark Knight / The Dark Knight Rises in true Minifigure scale because most of the one's I've seen have been far too large so that the figures can fit in. Many hours has been spent to make it as small as I could but still fit two figures in the cockpit.
And the black one has been made a million times, so I did the Camo version :D

A LEGO Minifigure is 4cm tall, and the average height for a grown man is 175cm. If you divide 175 by 4 you get 43.75 (the scale). The Tumbler is 462cm long, and if you divide that by the scale you get 10.56cm, which is around the size a LEGO scale Tumbler should be. Mine is 13cm long, which I think is alright :)

The roof folds up to reveal the cockpit featuring two of Bane's henchmen. It look as if their heads are resting on the tyres, but back rests are featured which syop this happening.

I designed the Batpod back in July but wanted to wait until I had something else to display it with before posting here.

I don't own an official Dark Knight Batman figure, and they haven't made a Catwoman from the film yet so these are my 2 custom purist figures :)

"Does it come in black?"

I haven't done a lot of building recently due to school work and needed to get back into the swing of things for the MOCOlympics tomorrow!

Very nice! Can you tell me how to put the visor on catwoman´s hair?

Argh, spoilers! I didn't read the complete text in your post since I haven't watched TDKR yet. I like your idea to create a tumbler in real minifig size and though yours is much smaller than most of the ones I've seen, the level of details you maintained is amazing.

That's cool, I really like the shaping of this bigger one, too. The scale is perfect for Minifigs. Great Tumbler + great Batpod = Great job! :-))

Very cleverly done, and not too big. Can't have been easy. See you in the Olympics (although not against me, I hope...)

Both are awesome! Your tumbler might be the smallest one fitting two figs which is fantastic (mine is a bit larger ...). Is there a real steering? The Batpod is great, too!

Nice Tumbler, and the Batpod looks much more like the one in the movies. Looks a bit fragile, though.

Both of these are fantastic. I couldn't believe it when I saw you had managed to fit two minifigures into that Tumbler! Really great stuff, the Batpod would have done fine on its own ;) Love it, great build!

Very awesome GG! I like this a lot! The bat pod would look better in black imo but grey makes it easier to see all the clever details. Good luck with the MOCO's dude!

Quoting Noah G Great! But remember, minifigs aren't to normal human scale.
I imagine them to be the same height as real humans but a little wider, which is why my Tumbler looks a bit Chibi-ish. Thanks for the comments guys!

Quoting Legofreak2444 ~ Very cool. I think the Tumbler is a tad too small though...
I've updated the description to show that, although it looks a tad too small, using maths I worked out that it is indeed the right size, even a little bit too big! Thanks for your concern though :)

It actually looks too small for minifig scale. But I do like how you have the bad-pod coming out. :)
