These are MY creations. They are from the Ranger's Apprentice books by John Flanagan.

(title photo) Halt O'Carrick with his hood down.






(1st photo) : A side view of Halt, Holding a knife as he prepares to throw it.

(2nd and 3rd photo) : Halt riding his trusty horse Abelard. Abelard (like Tug) is a specially bred ranger horse. His secret code phrase to ride him is Permettez Moi? Which translates to let me?

(4th photo) : Halt and his wife Lady Pauline. Lady Pauline is a tall and graceful courier. There has always talk of Halt and Pauline having feelings for each other in the past, but it wasn't confirmed until book 7: Erak's ransom.

(5th photo) : Baron Arald marrying Halt and Pauline. Halt and Pauline marry at the beginning of book 7. King Duncan is given the role of Patron Sponsor, which is just something Lady Pauline made up. It means he needs to bring a super fancy gift.
