My new car, not sure how many peaces, probably between 400-550, but i don't know, so this is 10x24 and it has 3 features, opening doors, opening hood, and glow in the dark headlights :)
-note: i didn't realize one of the rear view mirrors came off, but don't worry i found it! :)
-ps the clear stud on the hood is a handle, otherwise it would be very hard to open.
now this has my favorite engine yet, i think it is absoulutly perfect and i am very proud of it, what do you think?

oh yeah (to your last comment) that was the only way could figure out to attach the shaker hood, and i couldn't figure out how to cover it :(, and do you sort your parts? i haven't gotten to sort them, since my brothers can never get along with me, we have separate legos for a year or so, but the ones that are every bodies can't be sorted since my brothers just dump them all the time :( but i'll find it, or else i'll order one more when i get parts for my next model (a lamborghini, not sure which, so far a gallardo but it depends on how my countach goes (on lld)). well anyway thanks!!! |

Finally something in real bricks! :) And it was not supposed to have that hole in the gray shaker hood scoop right? And you can also put two gray studs on the hood instead of one clear stud. Use them as hood pins. ;) And I agree with Darek L. The back needs a lot of work. It looks like a tuned version now. You need to use some inverted slope bricks. But the front looks really good!
Thanks! i have been working on the back! i jsut need one red 1x1 plate and i'm done, ive been working on finding it for three days :(

Cool design! I really like the engine as you said. :)
Thanks! actually i am in the middle of redoing the rear, but i'm stuck on 4 red 1x1 plates, if i get those i am done :) it looks a lot better, from the side it looks better since i made the back longer (like the real one) and from the back, it looks a lot more like the real one! the back has now gotten smaller, the bumper is better (i added the little things that hold it) and the exhaust pipes is better, also the back is stronger then it was before :) |

At 1st feeling, very goood, but rear ruins it. Hemi Cuda got a very special rear, one of it's own kind, very hard to recreate in LEGO bricks, but that makes the car, so worth give it a try.
Rear needs a bit more of work, coz like now, it ruins whole good look of this car. Would be shame to waste such promising project...wouldn't it?
I agree i will try to work on it, hopefully i can do justice on try 2. |

Excellent stuff, you have every right to be proud of it. It is so much better in the brick and the engine looks fantastic. I hope you don’t mind me saying - try to take pictures in good natural light, but not direct sun light. Anyway it is great to see you building with real bricks and I hope to see more. Is that large grey tile on the roof smooth/shiny? Or does it have a matt finish?
the tile is a mat finish, i got 15 light grey 6x6 tiles from pick a brick, so thats what i used :) i just added my video of the functions. |
