USCSS Nostromo (Weylan-Yutani-Corporation) - Project-I
after a while scratching my head and screaming around i'm still on this project... ;-) getting the angles of the exhausts right wasn't fun-i think i played around 1 hour! Maybe because i used balljoints... If you use LDD - maybe you know what i'm talking about :-) But here we go...
About this creation

Update 08.12.2012 : You can check it out in real bricks here

The exhausts are ready.

and the underside is closed

also the smaller engine parts are ready and in place

the docking gate to the base was a little bit fun with it's 7 sides...

alltogether from the back ;-)

and one more shot from above.

hope you like it! criticism is welcome!

The Instructions are only the 3 engines...

Quoting Daniel Brilliant Whichever method is more convenient for you. I like having a more free dialogue with builders than you can get with comments on MOC pages, but divulging email can be a risky thing. I appreciate you being willing to swap ideas on technique.
Maybe you are right - E-mail isn't the best way... i uploaded instructions for the engines - only for you ;-)

Quoting Tim C That looks really cool, Mihe. I like the exhaust. The time was well spent. I'm wondering if this is some planning for a project in ABS? Will we see this soon in some tangible plastic?
Thank you Tim! I don't know what you mean with "ABS"... Project i only called this, cause it will need more time as i usually spent on a MOC. I plan this on LDD to get the partlists and know what to buy ;-) Cause if i reach the 10.000 piecemark i wouldn't like to order something i don't know what i need...after getting a new computer i also hope to finish this project better and faster ;-) !

Awesome! building digital can be also be very exhausting. Building the spine out of technic-bricks is good for the general shaping. Hope to see the final whole ship.

Quoting Daniel Brilliant This is developing very well. I like how you have done the "rounded" parts like the engines and the docking clamp. I'd be curious to see how you did it in more detail. The smaller engines look similar to the technique that I used on some of my dragons. I'd be curious to see how you do the larger ones for ideas on other dragons I'm working on.
Thank you very much! If you want i could post instructions of the engines right here - or i send them to an E-mail of you...
