About this creation

The frame I used for my Mini-AcGuy and MiniGun gundams. Simple, easily modified, very flexible.

Quoting Disco Chicken Basically in this scale.
Pneumatic T-bars with clips or peg holes (or any bar and clip) can work well, 1x1 bricks with technic peg holes and friction pins can work well in some parts, 1x1 hinge bricks, just depends on your joint needs and size needs. There's no one size fits all, kinda gotta mess around with ideas and see what works for you.

Quoting Disco Chicken Is there any way to make sturdy joints without ball joints?
Depends on what scale you're going for. There's lots of solutions for joints. Ball joints give good stiffness with the widest degree of movement, so they are the most popular at a mid-scale.

I see you've discovered the benefits of using those cockpit side pieces in your builds. They are perfect for being able to squeeze a minifig in there, no? Great job!
