Star Wars House 2
I built this in September 2012.
About this creation
I recently bought an X-Large Gray Baseplate and I wanted to do something with it, so I built this house. This is an improved version of the house that I named (Star Wars House) that I built in April 2011. This time I did not include all of my Star Wars minifigures. I only included Han, Luke, Leia, Chewbacca, C-3PO, and R2-D2. I built this in rainbow because I don't have enough pieces to not build something this size in rainbow.

This is probably the last MOC you'll see from me for awhile because I'm going to start sorting my 18000 LEGO pieces very soon. I'm going to sort by color first and then by part. It's going to take awhile. I'm going to go look at storage units at Fred Meyer tomorrow (9/16/12). If you have any advice on how to sort LEGO, please leave it in the comments. And also, if you know how to remove the background from pictures so its just the MOC left on the computer, could you leave that in the comments? Thank you and I hope you liked this creation!

The original version of this house can be seen here.

This is cool! I think that the rainbow-ness actually has some appeal to me and I like how you did all the rooms and such. Good work and keep it up! :) - J.

Disregarding the lack of color coordination (which is excusable for those with limited collections) , this is a good MOC!

Quoting nathan earl how long do u think youll be sorting????
Probably 1-2 months because of school. I've sorted by color before so I could build some of my favorite sets and that didn't take that long, only a couple of days. Sorting by part is what's going to take awhile. I'm sorting by color first because then I only have to deal with 100-2000 pieces at a time instead of 18000 all at once. It'll probably be a little faster that way.

If you do not have enough bricjks to make this scale look good, why not make it smaller? small clean and detailed, is better than large rainbow and busy.

The house is very nice. Reminds me if a house my brother and I built too many years ago. I wish you luck with both school and sorting. I myself have no sorting tips as I do not have my bricks sorted, not that I have the time for that, school is a hectic thing. Good work Kayla, you did well on all the details of the house. :)

Quoting Lego Builders To remove the background of the photos, I would suggest using GIMP. You can find a tutorial here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iiXh3QrbDYM&NR=1&feature=endscreen. Hope it helps! -LB Senior
