Modeled off of a Type 61-5 Semovente EFGF battle tank using an extended Somers-pattern turret and Lego-4-Life's tread system (with some tweaking).
Twin guns means twice the fun. It also means twice the allotted space for ammunition.
Side view. The turret sits near the rear half of the hull.
Turret back. The angles are the result of making a hexagonal turret and trying to fill up the spaces that the angled plates make. At least it's something.
The turret can rotate 360 degrees and all of the guns can elevate and depress (even the coax MG, thanks to the angled mounting).
Crew hatches open, showing the crew of three. The driver can actually get out of his position without removing the turret.
A better shot showing the hull's back top. Better than just a flat studless plate, I guess.
A comparison with the Evictor. This tank is taller, but not by much.
Those bore evacuators.
Most of the size difference in the M61 is its length and width. The M61 is longer and wider to accommodate the bigger turret.
