About this creation
(Aeten II, two days after the events of Chapter 9)
(Dark Jedi Anton Rogun gazed across the volatile surface of Aeten II, relishing in its dark power)
(The Dark Lady Mehendrish Sinn stood behind him)
Anton- So, it is done. Boris Yakerno is dead.
Mehendrish- Perhaps. Our spy should be able to confirm that soon.
Anton- At last... My only regret is that he did not die by my hand.
Mehendrish- Come, we must leave before the Republic counterstrike.
Anton- Indeed. And what of Warden Hesh?
Mehendrish- He sealed his fate when he allowed the Jedi to escape.
(18 Hours later, the Republic liberation of Aeten II)
(Vince Yond'Ull's speeder swooped in low over the volcanic surface of the planet)
Vince- Get is in close to the mining facility! I don't want anyone getting burned during this operation!
Clone Pilot- Yes sir!
(Vince propelled himself through the air nimbly landing on the mining platform)
Battle droid- Surrender! We've got you surrounded!
Vince- I don't think so droid!
(Vince quickly summoned the Force, blasting the droids away as he deflected a shot fro the super battle droid)
(Another speeder bike swooped in overhead as Karlo Yond'Ull jumped out and decapitated a droid)
Vince- What took you so long?
Karlo- Hey, you had a head start!
(Warden Hesh watched the battle unfold from his observation tower, fuming at the sight of the very same Jedi who had caused him to lose his job and nearly cost him his life)
Mine Foreman- Sir, we are under attack! Should we evacuate?
Hesh- No! Anyone caught trying to escape is to be shot. Kill the Jedi, that is all that matters.
(The battle continued below as Vince sparred with a miner and Karlo deflected another's blaster attack as Commander Wire dropped into the fray)
Vince- A little help here!
Karlo- I'm a bit busy at the moment Vince!
(One of the stray blasts hit a fuel drum behind Karlo)
Karlo- That can't be good.
(The fuel drums exploded blasting over the observation tower)
(Wire blasted the miner as Vince watched in surprise as Warden Hesh crawled out of the wreckage)
Vince- You! What are you doing here?
Hesh- So you remember me Jedi? All the better! Because of you I lost my job and nearly lost my life and I intend to repay you the favor!
(Wire blasted at Hesh who swiftly sidestepped the shot)
(Hesh quickly sliced Wire across the back as Vince charged at him)
Hesh- Sniveling clone!
(The two cross blades as Karlo continues battling the remaining droids)
Vince- How about that help now Karlo?
Karlo- Still working on it Vince!
(Hesh slammed his blade against Vince's putting the Jedi on the defensive)
Hesh- So you have a brother do you? I shall enjoy killing him once I've finished dealing with you!
Vince- Not on my watch warden!
(Vince sent Hesh reeling with a force blast as Karlo continued fighting the droids)
Vince- Why do you keep fighting? Your army is defeated it's over!
Hesh- This isn't about some insignificant battle! This is about revenge! My revenge on you!
(Hesh again slammed against Vince, pushing him dangerously close to the searing lava below)
Hesh- My retribution is simple. You take my life from me and I repay the favor!
(Vince broke off suddenly sending the Warden flying forward over the edge of the platform)
Hesh- Gahh! Nooo!
(Vince watched as the warden burned up in a fiery conflagration below him)
Vince- He's dead.
Karlo- Well there goes our best chance of finding out who the Temple spy is, now it's back to square one.
(Wire groaned as he staggered next to the Jedi)
Vince- Wire! Are you okay?
Wire- Ugh, yeah I'll be fine. He just grazed my back, can't say the same for my jet pack though.
Karlo- Come on let's get you to a medic. We may not have found out the identity of our traitor but at least Aeten II is free.
(Meanwhile on Eriadu Master Ban-Kazi led a recovery mission to the Republic Base even as the Separatist forces continued their subjugation of the planet)
Ban- Hurry it up! Our ships can't hold out forever! Take what you can and move out!
Kuve- Master look!
(Ban grimaced as Kuve held the remains of Master Boris Yakerno's Jedi robes)
Ban- Then there's nothing more for us here. Let's get off this planet.
(As Ban and the clones hurried off Kuve lingered for a moment and activated his comlink)
Kuve- Master it is done, Boris Yakerno is no more.

Nice Comic Varkov, glad to see corruption within the Jedi order; at a time like this. Still not sure if Boris, is dead... I don't think he is, and if he isn't; if that wasn't the purpose. I think you wanted to make it more hard to decipher, maybe his ligthsaber could have been found because it is more significant, just a thought though. |
