My First Round Entry. Hope you like it!

About this creation

Early dawn at the junction of Union Pacific Avenue and South Calzona Street in East Los Angeles, California. Not a soul in sight for it is industrial and quite dangerous to be while alone.

3 plain clothes cops clear the area and surrounding blocks. They deem it safe.

They form a defensive blockade and set up roadblocks. A black van pulls up, followed by many other (non-pictured) cars.

10:00 A.M. The camp is all set up. The crew prepare for a long day. A computer station, water cooler, and food table are set up for the comfort of everyone present.

12:00 P.M. Make-up is administered to all the dancers.

12:30(ish) P.M. Michael Jackson talks to the cameramen about the angles and lighting he wants.

Throughout the day, the actors and crew entertain themselves by wandering and chatting.

The actors/dancers also rehearse over and over again. They know the moves by heart and could do it in their sleep if they wanted, but no one wanted to mess up.

A tiny little run down lot full of dead grass and a broken bike. I tried chain-link fencing, but it just looks like a bunch o' metal poles.

Finally, the moment everyone has waited for. ACTION!

Hope you enjoyed this. It was fun to make and, honestly, I didn't even watch thriller before this. I just knew about it. The closest thing I ever got to Thriller was Weird Al Yankovich's, Eat It. Sort of sad. But Michael Jackson's song is great. That's my entry for the first round of the MocOlympics: 2012. PEACE
