Hey look at that! It’s not Halo!
The third mech in my newly named Dawn Forge MOC Theme, the details of which are on my homepage. Sort of a spiritual successor to the Radiant Class Mech, my somewhat under-detailed first MOC. What can I say…I like chicken walkers.
This one is designed for use in urban situations in both anti-armor and anti-personnel capacities. Often found working in consort with ABSOLVER droids it is well suited for both taking and holding metropolitan areas.
EDIT - As some have noticed, this design was influenced by the walkers in Battlefield 2142.

Hey Brian. A few things. I got on for my weekly MOCpage visit (I'm spending less time here and more (productive) time elsewhere. Like therebelution.com) and I noticed that you haven't commented on my new hardsuit -> http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/121560 Now I'm not saying this in a dissapointed tone, don't get me wrong. I know that there isn't possibly any way for you to keep tabs on all of your fans. But I'd appreciate it if you came and took a look. I made it (dynamically) posable with you're affinity to non-posable mechs in mind. So like I said, I'd be greatly honored if you'd pop by for a looksee. Now there's also a reason that I commented on this mech specifically. You said there was an inspiration? From a specific EA-produced game? I recently started playing it and discovered my favorite bi-ped mech of all time. I decided to build it eventually when I had the time (and money) and I figured that I'd just give you a heads up. So thanks for being one of the most incredible mech builders out there (quite possibly my favorite). Keep on building ~ Nowhereman |

I've seen a lot of great MOCs on the site and call a lot of them my favorites. This, however, is at the top of the list. There's something about it that's just amazing, I love it! It has certain presence about it, okay, I'll say it: majesty. Who knows for sure what makes a muli-ton war machine majestic, but you pulled it off. When I say majestic, I don't mean flowery and pretty, but in a way that commands respect without you realizing it. It makes you stop and think, "man, that's not just good, its awe-inspiring". A great MOC in every way. Peace - Packie |

I you could basically sell this in a toy shop, already made, and people would gladly pay for it. You have got real skillz, man. You should try making a lego gun next. If you don't feel like making a big one, you can just start with a pistol. i would really like to see a lego gun of yours. |

Alright, I've got an idea! I think that you and the other builders from atop Mount Olympus should get together and make the ultimate MOC. We'll take Goldman and Brassington and have them do the backgrounds, Jassim will do the capitol ships and you do the mech and ground forces. Then we'll get master builders like Ward, Kelso, "The Shannons", Rubin and Rutherford (just to name a few, sorry if I missed anyone) to get all the little details sorted (they're all excelent with them) and then... wait for it, let it sink in. There it is, your starting to see it come together aren't you. It makes me feel naughty just thinking about the possibilites. OK, I'd be happy with a photoshop of the idea, but the reality of it would be sweet. Nice work here as always! ~Chris. |

An excellent mech but not without some flaws. Although I strongly admire your building style I do not know whether going with a transparent cockpit is a great decision as it makes the mech look somewhat cartoonish. In my opinion a coffin style cockpit would be better. Also, I do not like the angle of the mortar housing. Although it is the correct angle for mortars to be launched it would maybe look nicer if they were flat and boxy which would flow better with the rest of the design (perhaps they could tilt to aim when needed). I do not need to tell you what looks good – 58 other reviewers have already done so – but the ammo belts are just fantastic… Alex. |

This 'mech is an absolutely amazing creation, bringing realism to the atrociously fantastical mecha genre. The Schism's guns, though seemingly small for its size, provide an air of real power, as they are things that are understood to be possible, rather than the ridiculous weaponry of most other mecha. Also, instead of having a bizarre color scheme made solely for the purpose of looking "cool", this 'mech has a color scheme based upon the environment in which is intended to operate. Finally, it brings an astounding level of detail, showing everything from the ammo belts to air intakes.
This 'mech is an island of inspiration in a sea of banality. |

You cease to amaze me. Halo creations to this! This is one of MOC page's finest. Though I have one concern. The cannons, 240mm is a bit off-scale if you compare the actual lego cannon to the minifig. But, no time to critique every little thing. Great work! |

Holy “expletive” (or ‘S’ word as my daughter calls it). This is, hands down, the best mech I have seen. I feel a sudden urge to build one, but I feel I am getting bogged down with too many genres as it is. *Sigh*, I will just have to live vicariously through those that build them. The legs/feet are my favourite elements. Lee. |

WOW! Your mech's arm weighs as much as my mech suit. You clearly have alot of legos. Now if only my mech looked better. Keep up the good work! |

jeeze! what do you do for a living again? What? top sectret government operations! lol. Brian, Im not a fan of battle Mechs but creativity, innovation and intricately polished detail and design really wow me. But seriously, isnt this thing a bit...overkill! ITS HUGE! You say its designed for urban combat, that , to me implies confined space...get my drift? lol This thing could take out a whole damn city by itself, just by launching a few projectiles from city limits. Anyway, I like the new "dawn Forge" theme, im gonna go read the premise after I finnish this review, solong. |

Awesome as always, Brian. Fantastic marriage of sleek techniques coupled with a classic bulky mech design. Again, awesome. |

As soon as I saw it I knew it could only be yours -- it's got the signature Mondaynoodle stamp. So smooth... The tan highlights work well with the dark blay, and exposed hosing always seems to look good even if it would never fly in the real world. Worth the wait and then some! |

This is amazing. So much detail and fire power crammed into this MOC. Fantastic job! Nice color too. Once again you have shown your excellent building skills. |
