I know what you mean, black is a difficult colour to photograph. I don't think that's necessary, just experiment until you find a way to take bright and clear photos :) Its up to you :)

Quoting Starscream Soundwave Looks pretty cool, I remember seeing the original. Maybe you could add more than two pictures? And have better lighting, I can barely make it out.
I probably should take better photos. The problem is with black model cars. Maybe I should take them all to some pro photo studio.
