Quoting Lego Builders Well done. I like the opening parts especially. To be honest, I think the technique you used for the butterfly doors would work better (at this scale) than the one I used for my Enzo. My technique takes up too much space on small cars, like this. So...do you still want me to show you how to make it? It should be somewhat self-explanatory in these pictures. http://www.mocpages.com/image_zoom.php?mocid=270174&id=/user_images/68065/13060048881 http://www.mocpages.com/image_zoom.php?mocid=270174&id=/user_images/68065/13060049563 I forgot that I had those two photos or I would given you the link to them sooner. If you still need more help, just let me know. -LB Jr.
Thanks! i actually found something on flikr and it has the same/similar technic i tried it on a new version of my enzo and you're right it did take a lot of room, i just need to perfect my enzo!

Quoting Starscream Soundwave Meaning it is not a beautiful car. Obviously this is totally down to personal opinion, but I doubt theres anyone who'd call an F1 the most beautiful car in the world. In my eyes one of the most beautiful cars in the world is the (original, not that one off custom) Ferrari P4. There are a lot of Aston Martins that I would call beautiful. An E-type is another great example. And the 250 testa rossa. I'll stop now ;)
i know that it was a joke, like what do you mean it's not.

Quoting Loek Marcus Can you explain the side compartiments (which are quite cool!)?
in the real thing the side compartments are used because they are the only "free space" in the car, so they decided to make a luggage compartment there

Quoting Starscream Soundwave Haha :) The F1 will always be the greatest car ever made in my opinion, even if it isn't the best looking, the most powerful, the most luxurious, or even the fastest.
what do you mean the not the best looking? i agree it's much cooler then the veyron, with less stuff

Quoting Starscream Soundwave You are constantly improving! This is one of your best yet in my opinion, the fact you built my all time favourite car probably helped me like it even more ;) I also notice the F1 has become your favourite supercar :)
Thanks! yeah the f1 is more impressive than any car, even the veron, no turbochargers, 4 less cylinders, 12 years older, and of course less horsepower, speaking about horsepower, did you know that most horses have 0.7 hp, not 1 hp? at least according to Discovery Magazine in an article called Ten Things You Don't Know About Cars

Quoting Harry Gravett Great car! The doors are amazing, I can't believe you fitted all this into a car so small! well done, keep building :)
Thanks! a similar door was used on my enzo ferrari, though this is a slightly improved version, and yes it was hard to fit all the opening features, since the real one make use of every single square cm, the only thing i was disappointed about was how i was pretty much out of room for the engine, i could of defiantly done a better job if i skipped the side compartments ;)

Quoting Senator Chinchilla . Very cool! Great work on all the opening goodies.
thanks, it was hard to fit 7 opening goodies in a 10 wide model, the only thing i wasn't able to do was put in a spoiler, unless i throw together a removable one, not one that goes in.
