This is a Merchant's sail boat that I designed and created. the custom paper sails by me. This was a 3 day project, about 1-2 hours of time each day. Sail boats like these were often sold to private companies, not to people like the Royal Navy. Since these ships often had no cannons, they were often intercepted by pirates. The Navy outlawed this ship after the death of many people, and this ship wasn't put back in until someone thought of putting them in convoys with armed ships. The ship comes equipped with a life boat on the side, big enough to cram in the crew
of 5: The Captain, A night watchman a cook, who slept a little bit during the day, and 2 riggers, who also served combatants against other crews grappling on to take the ship alive. These ships could carry a giant amount of cargo for their size, yet still remained nimble and fast.
