Sorry broseph, I stepped out for a bit, sorry I've missed some of these classic space Moc's you've been mass producing! Very cool stuff. Chris

Quoting Tim C Love it! It's one thing for someone to sit down and just keep spitting out MOCs. I'm always amazed at how everything has such strong artistic qualities. It takes me a while just to figure out what I'm going to build next. In fact, you have, in the past, thrown down two MOCs in the time it's taken me to think of what I was going to build. I like this one because it has the weaponry that your builds rarely have. It also has that pod that automatically marks it as a David Alexander Smith original. The feet give it a distinctive, cartoon look. The flexible, tubular arms only add to that effect. You know what this makes me think of? Something that Dr. Wily would attack Mega Man with. Are you with me there?
Mega Man is a spot on reference. Thanks for the compliments, sometimes I wish I took a bit longer over my builds, yours always benefit from the obvious care and careful reworkings.

Quoting StoveTop Creator I recall you saying awhile back that you were acquiring a few of these pods. Now the treats begin! Am I correct... this is your second pod build? Love that backflap entrance into the pod! Hey what tot wouldn't love to have memories of playing with a Jelly Robot! :)
I've actually made quite a few pod builds, this is actually a rework of the idea I first looked at here http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/312643. His eyes are jelly tots - not sure if they are common sweets in the US or not http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jelly_Tots.

Quoting Master Shifu Leo J I agree with Yuri. The feet area just need a little more detail. Nonetheless, it's a pretty cool robot!
Quoting Yuri Fassio What an awesome, vintage-style MOC! It only falls a pair of ankles short of perfection!
Thanks both, I think you are right about the feet, an extra hinge could have improved things. Glad you both like him.

Quoting Gale Winthrope Hey, at least you aren't trying to kill the yellow astronaut this time ;) I love the look of this, it has a strange mix of retro and future looks to it. Looks great :) Fantastic parts usage with the clear pod. Great work David. :)

Quoting David Roberts Nooo! Put the red spaceman down you big, blue meanie! I really like the shape of this mech, especially how its back is round to match the clear pod. The way that you've attached the pod is really neat, as they're hard to use in my experience. I like the access hatch too. What has happened to the driver's legs?
He's on a 3x2 plate, the back to studs are embedded in the the rear wall, the front two studs have two cylinders attached and levers on top, the general stands on the middle two studs. Interesting fact, he was built during a powercut by candle light.
