1957 Chevy
I've always loved the lines on the 57 Bel Air. I wanted to build this one, not in my usual way. Usually, I go for working steering and engine. I haven't even tried suspension until now.
About this creation
Here it is. Red and ready to roll.

I'm really limited on white parts, so you can only imagine how hard these fins were. The trim was tough too, but it came out pretty good.

I love using how litte chrome I have! Chrome is my favorite part of these old cars. With coffee mugs as tail lights, she's lookin shiny.

The underside suspension.

Overhead view.

The interior is lousy and small and is not built for accuracy. I just couldn't bear a hollow car.

The suspension is right beneath where the back seat would be.

Up front, the suspension lies right beneath the hood of the car. It was challenging to cover while still making the body lines look natural.

The car can ride pretty low with the inclusion of suspension.

The front of this is wonderful. Nice use of swords! It could be longer, but it still looks good.

Great job, but like others have said, it is too short. Other than that you've done a brilliant job!

Nice! The front is perfect but I think it needs to be a little longer. Apart from that, nice work and I love the suspension!

the shape is a little off, but, the front is great, it makes a nice oldie, and it still looks good, if you re-do it, next time it could be just dead on, I re-did my fig limo about 15 times before getting to it s present look, 2 years ago, it still has nt been outdone... it s worth it!

What Loek says. Especially the front is very well done! Two hints: (1) "My collection consists of lots of Harry Potter and Star Wars sets with some Creator thrown in there. From this, I build what I can." If there is a shortage of parts, you may use http://www.bricklink.com. This might help to improve the proportions of the Chevy. (2) You should add your MOCs to some more groups to get more attention. Dan the Man's American Car contest has already finished. Anyway great work, looking forward for your future MOCs!

The styling is cool, though the proportions are a bit out. But it is corrected with lots of chrome and lovely suspension. Great MOC!

Wow, that's great especially the working suspension in this rather small car! The shaping is excellent, too. Clever parts usage of the swords on the front! Great job! :-))
