Previously on Glen's Story: Shining Path specialists have hunted down Glen in his apartment in search of the artifact.

Cultist 1: Sir!
Captain: Huh?
Cultist 1: We have it.

Captain: Alright then, let's move!

Captain: Call in a shuttle; let's get out of here.

It was too much for Glen. First the attack on the facility, now this. He decided to do what he had been putting off for a long time: join the military.

General: Corporal Glen!
Glen: Good morning, Sir!
General: You have shown exceptional skill and courage in action. Because of your feats, we would like to offer you a deal.

Glen: What might that be?
General: Become part of our experimental IRONHIDE superhuman project. You will essentially be a guinea pig for our latest technology. If all goes well, your strength, reflexes, and mental abilities will be greatly increased.
Glen: I'll think about it...

Operator: Lung enhancements under way.

General: You can do this, Glen...
Operator: His condition is stable. Implanting titanium reinforcement...

12 hours later...
Operator: All operations are complete, sir. The private's condition is stable.
General: You did well, Glen.

Glen: Look at all these weapons...

Glen: A minigun. Perfect for my new abilities.

With his new armor, new weaponry, and cyborg self, Glen was ready to set out on his first mission.

Investigate the attack on his home. This important facility, as Glen learned, had been hit hard and captured by the Shining Path.

His plan was to allow himself to be captured to allow easy access within The Cult's operations in the facility, and escape later.
