Hello, this is my second large scale MOC built in real bricks. It is a yellow Mercedes SLS AMG, which I started building on Friday 28/09/12 and finished Sunday 30/09/12 (It only took me three days whereas my Ford GT took me a whole week!). The photos are now much more clear to see than my Ford GT. I'm not sure which I prefer out of my Mercedes or Ford , so I would appreciate it, if you could say which one you think is better in the comments. Enjoy!
About this creation
Front:
Here is the front, I like the lights and I used a steering-wheel for the Mercedes badge.
(I have seen the badge used many times, but I think I first saw it on Malte Dorowski's SLS first, so credit to him.)
I was going to put an enigine in the front, but the front dosn't open that much so there wasn't much point.
The side:
Here is the side. As yo can see I have used the same wheels as my Ford GT, but in white.
Here are the Gull-wing doors, they don't attach to the roof but you will see why soon.
The interior (I used the same steeringwheel as the Ford GT but in yellow).
I focused on the dashboard, and I made the seats black with red stripes on them.
The back:
Here is the back, I ran out of smooth tiles, so sadley the studs are showing. However I really like those lights on the back.
The boot can open to store stuff.
And here is the roadster version. (This is why I didn't make the doors attach to the roof.)
And here it is with the Ford GT, which one is your favourite?
