YAr. I be captain Alestorm. due to an unfortunate encounter with a squid me face is *wiggles fingers under chin* tentacle-y

No man has touched me tiny pirate hat and lived. No man but shellfish garry.

Me trusty cutlass has disassembled many a foolish toa.

I lost me leg in an indecent involving a revolving door and an angry cuttlefish, I miss ye good leg.

Me hook was given to me by me ol' professor of the trade, right after he removed me hand.

Ye may have a cannon but me cannon fires PURE GOLD BALLS.

Posing wif' me gun.

God speed lads!
7th wall: This was made for a contest on PO. (sorry about the blurry pics) I just started by building his legs and the rest of the MOC grew after that. When I saw the octopus in my Lego bin I realized I had to use it in the MOC. I'm incredibly proud of this MOC especially after my last horrible failure of a pirate MOC which you will never see.

Quoting Gringat the Repugnant This MOC hits home really well with me. I've always loved pirate MOCs (Hcaet Drawde has a buddy now! :D) and this guy is just so over-the-top whimsical as well. Even wierder is that his design matches Captain Hook's costume in my town's pantomime almost perfectly - even down to the gold detailing and beard style - and in fact they would both have been being put together at the same time, too. O.o
your captain hook costume has a an octopus beard?

That cannon is amazing, if small. Could be used as a siege breaker by smaller characters. I am a nut for detail, and you have performed! Again!

Very nice. I like the peg-leg and octo-beard. the moc works well with its colors, and I also like the pirate hat. being a pirate is alright with me, so do what you want 'cause a pirate is free. you are a pirate.
