RAIDER DECONSTRUCTION
About this creation
Welcome to another dumping of images.

This time I have uploaded some of the images of the Cylon raider after I knocked it off the small stand.

It looked as if it crash landed upside down.

The rest of the images show the creation being dismantled and some images show how the build was joined together , simple solution was found but it took time to work it out. I had more complex ideas that did not work.

Now all sorted and has been reused in the new creation …….KEEP POSTED…..

Quoting Stephan Schumann Well, thank you very much for charing those pictures with us; it is always very interesting how something is built inside. What i can say: On LDD, the use of angled technic-bricks is very limited; the program can't handle the fit of the holes; so well; this sort of construction, like you done well, is something to be done in real.
Thank you Stephan for your comment. I welcome all the requests and hope I am able to provide images if I have them. The inside was a challenge to start with. All worked out in the end. Keep up your great LDD I look forward seeing them.Cheers

Quoting Marc dZ Those three "crash" pics are just amazing!!! Impressive! Interesting to see your building technic, I do appreciate. Nice Lego room, too...
Thank you Marc I am glad that you approve of the crash images. Even though they are all the same image. The dedicated room needs to be twice as large and four foot higher for the best photo results but as it is will have to do for now. Cheers.

Quoting Lemming the Builder Dude Thus must all pretty models die sometime. :( After that shameful attempt at old english, I will stop this comment with this--- Interesting construction.

Quoting El Barto ! Some great editing on those first shots!! You'd think the toasters would be better at flying?! Nice to see the insides of this beast--Wicked!!
Poor toasters must have had a virus that day and sneezed at the wrong moment. Well with all the refits this build got it was no use taking images as I progressed as they would have become redundant in no time. Cheers and glad you liked it.

Quoting Thoy Bradley Very sad that minifig pilots aren't very good at landing :( On the funnier side, this does remind me of that scene from star trek generations when the disc portion of the ship smashes into the planet. I know, its not BSG but it is close :) ~Thoy
Thank you Thoy for your praise and comment. Glad that you like this build. It is good that you saw a resemblance. Not intentional. Cheers

Quoting Tim C I weep. Such a great build, and although we always reverse-build a pile of LEGO out of all of our favorite MOCs, this is a tragic, untimely death of a great piece of work. Now, I will say, perhaps even a bit selfishly, that I was happy to see some of the behind-the-scenes magic that made this ship possible, but that aside, I'm sorry for your unplanned motivation to sort some LEGO. Can't wait to see what you bring next, Garry.
Thank you Tim for your praise and comment. Glad that you like this reverse build build. At least that it assists those who wish to attempt this type of build. On the other hand the way it fell made for some great crash images. Cheers
