Goldon Vs. Onigumo
A classic tale of Good Vs Evil, the clash between Goldon and his chosen foe will have almost no impact on the history of Gala Magna.
About this creation
Goldon is the first Toa born after the Ancient Times, when the battles between Toas and Warlords scarred the milky sands of Gala Magna.

He is the Toa of Laser, a sub-category of Light Toa powers. He can shoot laser beams from his eyes, strong enough to blind or singe his foes. His heartlight can deliver a powerful laser blast, and he can extend a laser blade well beyond the reach of his sword, but only when he's swinging it.

Goldon grew in a coast town, a peaceful place even in moments of unrest, yet his thirst for adventure made him jump at the occasion when he heard of the threat of Onigumo.

Wearing a mask containing a single refined fragment of a lost Legendary Kanohi (or what passed as such), Goldon started his journey as Toa.

Goldon is determined and strong. He trained exhaustively in the use of his powers and, though he's quite impulsive, he's not prone to lose control. His real flaw is the lack of leadership skills.

-

Onigumo is cunning and power-hungry, a serious threat both in mind and body.

Born as Dorn in an island off the coast of the White Mountain region, he grew up as a Spider Trainer, before deciding to change his path and setting off for the White Mountain, to be trained by the Kicker masters.

When they refused, he tried a different way. He went to the swamps with his Spider pets and gave in to foul powers and twisted rituals, until he emerged as a misshapen Spider Warrior.
Still, for some reason, he bears no more animosity towards the Kickers than he does towards anything else.

Onigumo is immensely strong for his size, his four arms can crush an incautious Toa into lifeless debris.

He can also climb walls and produce steel wire-strong webbing from his ass. He has perfect night vision and he can set webbing traps like any spider would.

To make things worse, he sometimes equips a dreadful Power Saw-Claw and a devastating Plasma Projector, capable of melting through stone.

And Goldon is going after him. I hope he commissioned a stone with "Totally worth it" engraved on it.

Goldon and Onigumo. Who will emerge victorious?

Goldon's head and eyes.

They really work better with a mask on.

Lousy blacklight picture of Onigumo. For some reason I couldn't get a better one.

Note #1: Yes, I took Onigumo's name from Inu Yasha. It's not that I particularly liked that manga (she did better than that), it was just one of the many possible sipder-y names, and it was sorta laying there, ready and packed. Listen, I was just lazy OK?
Note #2: This time I tried to take some pics on a black BG, like Dr. Jones suggested. I also took some on a white one, to see the dofference. Which pics look best?

Very nice, I wondered why the Goldon's eyes looked odd to me until I saw the mask-off pic. I like the use of unusual parts in Oni though; that spider 'ass' (as you put it), the hunter head, and Onua's launcher-shield thing were well used in this build. Plus the Ben 10 parts were well placed too. Been thinking 'bout picking up a few of those myself.

Pretty epic! I like the toa better than the villain personally, but both are great! Also, as you requested, here is Ripcord http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/345542 Finally got around to posting him.

They're both great, I particularly love Onigumo's build. I prefer the black pictures, the white background came out a little yellowish.

Quoting Steve The Squid The black background doesn't look good. Besides the fact that I HATE how Goldon's shoes stick out the way they do, they're both AWESOME! Love the use of the trans-studs on Goldon. I believe Goldon's head deserves credit to somebody, I think it's banjax.
I don't know where the popping eyes come from, I've seen them in a few MOCs before. Last time it was in the Bio-Cup.

Very nice. I like the pair of them, Gold on black is a good color scheme that few can get wrong. On Onigumo, the arachnid rear section (I forget what it's called, but it works, and is very spider like. Also, for those who don't know(not trying to be a know-it-all, but i figured I'd share the knowledge) Gumo means "Spider" and Oni means "Demon" or something of that nature. Also, is Onigumo supposed to be a black fantasy, because it looks like one.

Good. The black-gold-blue is an interesting combo, but impressive. And Onigumo(?), I can't say nothing about him. He is big, and black :D

Wicked! I'd say the black background shots have a richer look to them, less glare, fewer shadows.

Quoting Parrington Levens The Goldon dude has fantastic pose-ability man. Maybe it's just the way you posed them, but it looks great. And I prefer the white background myself for these. Oh and that spidery thing, that head is wicked hideous!
Thanks, both figures feature a waist articulation and that's all you really need to add to a Bionicle in term of poseability. Alas, I can't take credit for that black mask's design. The whole set was wicked cool.
