A small classic space build. A bit of fun while I wait for the MO round 3 challenge to reveal itself.

This is definitely one of the most handsome space exploration vehicles on MOCpages! The dual screens closed together is a very nice feature and the detachable claw is magnificent! Sensational Work :-) |

Great build, David. When did you score the tread? Absolutely sets this one off. Some awesome playability. Love how the single vehicle splits into two. I also like how so many of your builds have this very industrial feel to them. Futuristic construction crews is what I get from them. Also, glad to see that you advanced in the MO. Great work and well deserved.
My brother gave mete technic crane we 9391 for my biryhday a few weeks back. I used a number of its parts (unseen) to build my meat grinder. And yes, many of my ideas for my space vehicles come frame a prospector storyline. The industrial search for resource in space. The fact that the natural inhabitants of Venus often take their revenge on the ORRT might be an ecological warning. |

Nice looking piece of hardware you've got here. I love how the rig separates from the crawler, nice playability!

Gorgeous! And funnily enough, I'm building cs at the moment myself:)
I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with CS-wise. |

David, this one hits home for me, it reminds me of that one little classic set, the little six wheeler car, with green windows, and the drop off pod station with trailer, it was one of the first sets. You've really nailed the genre here, and(wiping a plastic tear from my nostalgic eye) I really wish Lego would bring back this genre! 10/10 here! Z |

!!!!! Mui bien!
Thanks. Although I know this one would never set the MOCpages alight, I know if you understand what I'm riffing off in relation to classic space you are going to absolutely get this. |

He he! Classic, Classic Space! I assume that this must have been built from plans which were lost down the back of a sofa in Billund, in 1982. This MOC has all of the CS motifs including the colouring and the detachable module. Sturdily built, with lots of playability (was that a word in the 1980s?). I like the stack of saucers at the front too. Excellent work. |

Excellent work once again. I really love the look it has. The detachable claw really surprised me, I didn't see that coming. Still, it is perfect. I see also that my Legos are not the only ones to have faced the dogs and survived ;)
Well most of these bricks survived me and my two brothers. |

Classic space at it's best. It made me think of the same vehicle Chris talks about below. Happy days :-)
This was the same vehicle I was thinking of when I was building it. |
