This is my smallest trial truck. It was built in the Fall of 2010. It has all-wheel drive from one black RC motors and all-wheel steering powered by two M motors, one for each axle. The front and rear axles are connected to the center module where the drive motor and battery box are located via two large turntables. Suspension consists of rubber bands on either side of the truck connecting the front and rear modules so that they return to alignment after being tilted.
Here is Version 2 of the Mini 4x4.
The flexibility and rigidity that is provided by the two turn tables is unparalleled.
Each axle has 1:27 reduction.
Version 1 had seats on both sides and the battery box was mounted on the rear.
