After first seeing my category, I wasn't quite sure what to build. After a couple of failed attempts at other album covers, I eventually decided on Abbey Road, the famous album by The Beatles. Not only do I like how it turned out, but I had a good time doing it too. :)

And here she is.

The original album cover.

Behind the scenes of the MOC. ;)
I was sure to do my best at make it look as accurate as possible. You can be the judge of that, but I'm really happy with the finished product.
I would have cropped the photo to make it square like an actual album but that's apparently not aloud. Oh well.

Good luck to my opponent!

C&C Appreciated

it s funny how that contest happened at the moment I was inspired to make myself one, of course, I would have made it like you, using figs, as I look at your piece, I am amazed at how the forced perspective worked so well, for the road, the cars...a little less, I REALLY have to try my hand at some, and micro cities...it would do wonders in stories. great piece LF!

Quoting Shannon Ocean Phew this was a a tough one! Both you and Luke's entries were really cool but I gave my vote to him, just. Your entry got me in the cuteness levels but his had a tiny bit more work in the forced perspective. A very close call. Thanks for playing mate!
Haha, well thanks anyway. :)

Quoting Cody G A valiant effort, but my vote goes to your opponent. Both builds were very good, but his larger figures allowed for him to put more detail into the build.
Ah, well thanks anyway. :)

Quoting Chris Roach were u guys sitting side by side when you were building these? both have nice forced percepective and are easily recognizable - however i am giving the edge and my vote to your opponent - the greater detail sold me! good luck with the other judges. Chris

You stole my idea! I got the same category in the MIT. Your entry could be done better namely: the VW beetle could be bigger and the main photo's angle is different from the album cover (you don't get the same feel from it). I'm still going to continue with my entry, I hope that I can improve over your build. Good luck with the judges! --John

Im pretty sure cropping is allowed. Just not like editing in bricks and making them different colors and stuff. Anything that doesn't change the build should be fine.
