About this creation
Lando L. Jackson ,
MOCOlympics 2012!

A terrible dream it was upon which I was in.

I saw myself, a wretched wreck, upon a rock that hung impossibly in the air.

Before me were 3 sloping stairs, each led up to another rock, also hanging, and on each, a portal archway hung; my way of escaping the dream!

But, alack, a great monster guarded the first rock. He was round of girth, and slow moving, with great staring eyes, a protruding jaw, and 2 large teeth, each nearly as long as my arm!

With his beady eyes, he dared me to climb the path. I dared not take the short climb to this rock.

But then, I wept when I saw the next rock, not further than a stones throw away, yet this rock, too, was again guarded by a creature of unknown nature. Tall, and ungainly, thin as a rod, this foe towered over all.

Bending low, his height was that of a behemoths! His imposing stature dared me to challenge him a challenge I knew I could never win.

I stared with despair at the last path a long, winding path, a seemingly safe path to freedom, but alas, a vast chasm separated me from the path. It would take a might leap of faith to clear this chasm, faith I did not have.

With no other choice, I knew the jump was my last hope.

I took a deep breath, and ran the short distance of the rock, then, I leaped, with hope surging me, and

4th Wall - I had this great idea of how to have my hanging rocks - I would put these pillars to hold them up under the cloth... Brilliant! :D

I hope you enjoyed!

God bless you all!

Best of luck, Lando!

Quoting Cody G Interesting layout, and some good piece usage, but your opponent had a slightly cleaner build. He's got my vote.
thanks, but, oh, well...

Quoting Chris Roach i actually think your fayled entry is better and had i not seen it i may have given you my vote. It was close to call black vs. white good vs evil LOL so to speak but I think your entry is a little too busy comparred to your opponents crisp creation great build in mono but in the end i am giving my vote to your opponent. good luck with the other two judges! cheers chris
yeah, I'm starting to regret not using that as the entry... I don't get how its too busy, especially compared to his, but ok... anyway, thanks, Chris.

I think i would have had to go with black too if i'd drawn this category, just for availability of parts. Well done on a tough category, I do love the writing too. Good luck!

Very creepy dude! LOL Excellent use of parts, and a very interesting build for a tough category. And you were able to sneak in after the bell.....might be lucky, eh? LOL Good luck with the judges!

Quoting MCLegoboy ! Dude, you are so lucky. The judges allowed you to put the entry in. Now I think your Fayle is actually better, I just think that although you used interesting pieces in ways not quite intended, it is too incomplete looking. I feel that the Fayle feels more complete and asthetically better.
yay! I'm over the moon :D yeah, it might have been, I just preferred this for some reason...

Quoting Lando L. Jackson Great job, but I really hope they won't DQ you for being late, it would be a shame if we didn't actually get to compete.
while it would be a shame, I think that's what will happen, so I'll congratulate you now on advancing!
Quoting StoveTop Creator You have a 'way with the word' as you wander along the triple ways! My favorite... 'beast wide of girth'! This is excellent! Very best to you in the luck department! :)
