Hello there everybody who is watching this page. I am very pleased to be able to show you this. This project is what sparked me over 3 years ago to start moccing actively and to get o nthe internet with said mocs. I've come a very long way ever since, with each moc carrying some kind of design or experiment meant for this very project.
It was a tough build that lasted for a week if I count all the hours I spent actually building this monstrosity. It has also taken nearly all of my technic pieces, rendering me out of my active state as a moccist, right into the passive state where I will post far less frequently. Anyways, let's get on to the moc shall we?
Species: Unique being.
Personality: Cold and distant at first glance. Tends to be very polite to those who actually get to know him. Due to his lust for battle he becomes very enthousiastic when such an event occurs.
Element: Iron (only when enraged enough)
Weapons: Progressive Knive, berserker blades, AT-Field (Powerfull forcefield meant for both defense and offense. Can crush most things in a glance.)
Chronus 'el Raïd thought it was all over for him. He had taken a seemingly fatal shot in battle and he was buried on Spherus Magna after having being conserved while everybody was still inside Mata Nui. 25000 years later, the Order found his remains and to their most stunning suprise, they found out that Chronus could be revived. Tabaris was still being rebuilt into a new body at the time but it was clear that he would need a trustworthy
companion on the battlefield, one he had fought alongside with before. And thus, Chronus was reformed into this new body, an elegant mix of organic and mechanic tissue was woven into his structure. Lastly, his soul was stored inside a pod that went inside the newly formed body and thus EVA-Jabberwock, named after some gigantic legendary warriors of times long forgotten, was born.
This moc marks my ultimate triumph in making humanoids. That being said, he is very topheavy and he will require reworking, mainly in the legs.
Jabberwock is my secondary selfmoc.
He was based on the famous giants from Neon Genesis Evangelion which is my favorite anime of all time.
Credit goes to Fenrek for the foot design.
This moc barely can sand up and he also barely fits inside my lightbox. Sorry for some black ugly outlines.
Jabberwock is articulated in the following places: ankle, knee(doublejointed), hip, torso(triplejointed), shoulder(doublejointed), elbow (swivel and bend), wrists, fingers, neck, head and toes.
The hardest parts of designing this moc are not really there. It took me 3 years to design most of it after all.
Many pars are held in by mere friction. Parts like the abdomen are basically composed of 5 tubes.
Anyways, that was that. I sincerly hpe you enjoyed this creation of mine.
I like the moc as is, but there is always room for improvement. With this moc you get flexibility, aesthetic and size, but the hips/midsection need fluidity; the transition from the midsection to the hips is uneven and looks a bit akward. I would suggest adding a little more armoring on the hips, or maybe even reworking them completely. Also, do you have a Flickr account? (I only ask because it would be easier to critique certain areas of the moc with their note system)
I really like this moc, good job c:

I must say that I really like this character you've created! He has a lot of great designs all throughout him.
Whelp, Tabaris, you old coot, you've finally done it. You have made the single most HORRIBLE thing MOCpages has ever seen...
Just Kidding! As if I would ever say that(out loud). This is truly wonderful, Ingmar. A fantastic MOC indeed. It is quite worthy of being your legacy. And, even though I haven't gotten around to watching Evangelion(yet), I have enough knowledge of it to know how difficult is it to build something in that style. I hope that, in the future, we'll see something even more amazing from you. Oh, who am I kidding? We all know you can't do better than this XP Well done, Iggy. Well done indeed...
THIS TOOK YOU WHAT!? Seriously, impressive. I have seen bigger, but this is extremely detailed and articulate for its size and bulk. My favorite part is actually the lower arms, using Nyra Ghost Blasters for armor and forearms, that was pure innovation. Kudos to you. Hmmm... make that Kudos time thirty. Kudoskudoskudoskudos....
