Another competition entry, Starscream Soundwave's 5-wide.
About this creation
Not an easy build, very intensive on the brick count, apologies to my Land Rover Defender, which had recently been refitted and will now have to be so again having been rather cannibalised. I enjoyed the building the 2 5-wide US cars for Dan's car contest, so much so I couldn't help myself and built another one. This is trying to resemble the new Chevrolet Camaro and does in some aspects. If it works or not is obviously in the eye of the beholder but either way its a nice car in its own right. It does take a minifigure too, which was important to me, they even manage to sit quite low, which I'm jolly pleased about. I tinkered with some low level fog lights but I preferred the solid bumper/fender look, there should be a photo of this somewhere, but not of the 'power bulge' attempts on the bonnet. This is very likely to be my last 5-wide for a while, it is a scale ideally suited to the larger American cars but as Gipswijk is in Northern Europe I don't want to many US imports on the streets.
