2012 Seagrave Pumper
This is a 2012 Seagrave Pumper on a Marauder II Chassis. It is powered by a Catarpiller 450 hp Diesel engine. It has a 1500 gpm Waterous single stage pump and a 750 gallon water tank plus a 20 gallon foam tank. The cab seats six and has an 11 inch raised roof. Above the pump enclosure is a 10 Kw Harrison generator.
About this creation

Seagrave’s first cab forward design, the cab-forward K model chassis, was introduced in 1959. It featured Seagrave’s innovative tube steel frame. The tube steel frame still is used today. The Marauder II Cab is the only cab of its type to offer a rigid stainless steel subassembly that totally surrounds the crew. It has the highest strength to weight ratio in a stainless steel cab design.

Seagrave was founded in Detroit 1881 by Frederic Scott Seagrave and is the oldest continuous manufacturer of fire apparatus in North America. BFD552@gmail.com.

Great truck, has lots of compartments. I love that grill design, it is a sticker right? Great job on another great truck. Where do you keep all these things?

Quoting Andy Thomas Nice work! Very clean build! I like this better than the 2010 ladder you built.
Which ladder?

Your designs and creations are great! I'm not sure how long it takes you to build these masterpieces, but they are definitely works of art in my opinion. I look forward to seeing what you come up with next!

Quoting Paulo Rodriguez Well, after looking at this for over half an hour, I love every single bit of it! I really do, is the grill from say a Code 3 rig? or is it a decal? I really, really, would love to add that to my current and future Seagraves, if its a decal it would be better! Fantastic job on it, every last bit!
I am glad that you like this engine. The grill is a photograph of a real Seagrave grill that I reduced to 1.25 inches across - to correspond to four studs wide. A few swipes of the glue stick and there you go. I am not a fan of lots of stickers, but I figured that this was a good time to use one. Oh, and these new Seagraves - there are six in my son's department - are my first rigs with chevrons on the back. Again, these are stickers.
