So, I wanted to build another Transformer, but I wanted to try one in Moodland scale. Transforms from robot to vehicle without removing or adding parts (except for his hand cannon). Surprisingly, this guy has more moving/sliding parts than any of my Lego Transformers so far! I originally didn't want my Bee to resemble the movies/TV version, but I had the right parts and felt that more people would appreciate a nod to the franchise. This only took me about a week, so expect more of these.

Hey great work on this. I like how compact you got it. It has a great War for Cybertron/Transformers the Movie/Transformers Prime look to it. They really need those T-bars in other colors though, like black and dark grey at least. Also, thanks so much for helping me out with that project, by the way. I've got something in the works, but I'm putting it together fairly slowly. I want to make sure I build it right this time. To all the rest of you--this guy is a really good guy! He's selfless and goes way beyond the call of duty for others. Make sure you support his stuff!
Thanks, Mithryl! Glad you like it. Also, I can't wait to see your project finished. I am glad to help, and, if you need any help again, don't hesitate to e-mail me, dude! |

For me, it is always amazing to see a LEGO® Transformer. This one is very special; I never thought it was possible to build it so believable. |

Very nice work, not many people can build a good transformer at this scale!
Thanks! What's really odd, is that I found it EASIER to make a cool Transformer at this size. |

Love the scale you did this at, must've added a bit more difficulty to the challenge. Fantastic work!
It was more difficult because of the size BUT I was able to find unique uses for tiles and bricks with studs on all sides. |

Wicked application of the Moodland fig! I like the car mode, too. Reminds me of some of the old cartoons where they're back on Cybertron in different vehicle modes. Should be a great series here, Dude!
Thanks! Both Bumlebee's G1 alt modes and various video game alt modes influenced this. The idea of "custom version" is that I can combine design ideas from various versions throughout the history of each character. |
