A scene from Star Wars Episode VI they simply impressed me over and over again. The speed and atmosphere in the film as they fly to the "entry" totally fascinated me every time, so I really wanted to try to capture it in a diorama. To build the spaceships and surface was the easy part, where I try around much was the entrance. Constantly built up and broken down, etc. until i had the variant which was for me the most beautiful ( so i think ) Yes and this is the result! http://www.flickr.com/photos/71475401@N07/sets/72157631752718591/

Amazing recreation of that part of the movie. Great job on the detail of the death star surface! The shadowing and lighting add a lot to the scene as well!

This really blows me away, and probably my favorite scene from Episode VI. You really nailed the texture of the second Death Star, especially those red gantries around the entrance. Superb!

Im not the big SW fan. But this is really great. The only thing, that you have to do now is, to make it minifig size..... Fantastic work.

Awesome! Because it makes so much sense to have another hole that leads to the center of the second Death Star. The empire is powerful, but doesn't seem very smart. Great details and everything.
