The Jetray is a newer-generation aquatic suppression AF designed to engage other underwater targets (typically submarines and similar naval AFs).
About this creation

Rather than using hand-carried weapons, all of the Jetray's ordnance is integrated into its propeller pack.


A tertiary propeller is installed into the pack to act as a backup; in the event that the propeller pack's primary turbines cease to function, or if the pack's ordnance has been completely expended (becoming 'dead weight'), the twin sections of the pack are scuttled and the tertiary propeller takes over as the primary means of underwater propulsion.


The Jetray is equipped with a large amount of sea-use explosives, from the classic compliment of homing torpedoes to 'smart' depth charges which can be remotely placed and detonated by the pilot.


The most powerful weapons mounted on the Jetray are its 'Poseidon' phonon maser launchers. These wave-based weapons are used to destroy the largest naval vessels in enemy fleets (carriers and destroyers).
