This is my F/A-38 Jaeger, an invented fighter along the lines of a stealthy F/A-18.
About this creation

The last photo... The Pomarine Jaeger, a swift, highly manueverable bird of the sea. Jaegers make a living on out-manuevering terns, gulls, and and puffins. The Long tailed Jaeger has been known to kill ducks and sandpipers as well. That is why I chose the name "Jaeger."
P.S. It is pronounced YAY-ger.
This is my invented stealth fighter which I have named,"F/A-38 Jaeger" Originaly naming it the "F/A-38 Kestrel," not realizing there already was a jet called the Kestrel. Well, I'm gonna break tradition and not not go on forever. This has thrust vectoring, working tailplanes, and, in case your blind, opening bomb doors. Right now it's carrying a CBU-87 cluser bomb, a JDAM, and two sidewinders. Thanks for coming and please review. All comments are welcome.
To those thinking it's an F-22, what I did was took an F-22 and gave it F-35 wings. so it's a tiny bit different. At the moment I am trying too stealhify A SU-27 Into a supersonic stealth fighter, which I am calling the Su-51 Fafnir. P.S. It looks a lot cooler than the Jaeger, AND there is NO BLUE! I hate the black and blue color-scheme.

One innaccuracy, it's not pronounced JAE-ger, it's HYAE-ger, just try and sound German. |

Nice overall profile to it, impressive that for such a big jet its quite cleanly built without many humps and bumps. |

Dude, how long has this been on mocpages? I like it a lot. sure it looks a lot like the F-22. But it also looks like the F-35. both designs are top notch and who wouldnt copy aspects of them? I like this model because it looks like a combination of both the F-22 and F-35. my only complain: Cover the wing roots! keep it up. Im about to go check out your other mocs. |

nice SNOT work on the cockpit to keep it thinner. maybe for an updated variant (if this isn't demolished for the Fafnir) you could make it have a single pilot and have an advanced computer behind the cockpit in i concealed hatch. review my creations if you have time. |

Thanks for the Reiview. I really like the wings, how did you get them to slant? |

Pretty good, though it needs to be finished. To those below, I'll point out the differences between the Jaeger and the Raptor. The Raptor's wing sweep is 47 degrees, the Jaeger's is 23 (yes, I measured!). The Jaeger is a twin seat fighter, the Raptor's computer is powerful enough to render an RIO (Radar Intercept Officer) unnecessary. The Jaeger sacrifices the Raptor's side mounted Sidewinder bays for additional fuel and an extra Vulcan 23mm Gatling gun. |

It’s quite a nice fighter and among the best imaginary fighters on the net. I always thought that a stealthy version of the tomcat would be awesome – check out my X-02 in my old models folder if you have not already. I like the name too, but how do you pronounce it? Alex. |

Very nice, the black colour really makes the fighter look stealthy. The tailfins could be a bit further apart though, but overall this looks great! Good job! |
