About this creation

Squad 15A.

A 1989 Mack CF.
Equipped with a 1250 GPM pump, 500 Gallon tank and a 55'snorkel.

Formerly a Engine, but heavily refurbished to make it ready for squad duties.

It carries al sorts of Rescue tools, a portable generator, hydraulic tools,PPV, and 4 extra foam cannisters.

This rig responds together with Squad 15 to all calls for Station 6.

Big thanks to Bruceville Fire Equipment for the painting and refurbishment.

(Thanks to Bruce B. and Zak O.)

Quoting Paulo Rodriguez I love this rig! I think Lee showed me a Mack CF snorkle like this, or maybe a tele-boom, any ways, I am sure this will look great next to your tiller!
Thanks Paulo, I don't know, but it still is a first for a Snorkel I believe, Mack CF Telebooms are a lot more common then the single axle snorkel. And this beauty and the Tiller will work together a lot I think. :D

Quoting James Keatley Oh My, that is awesome, i love the setup of this rig, lots of storage, a aerial device and single axel.
Thanks James, and the rig is everything Squad 15 isnt, lots of storage, aerial device and smaller for the tighter streets of Studdsville

Quoting Gunnar N Very nice!! Today I'm in Chicago and will get pictures to remake CFd squad 1A
Thanks, and I based this rig on the CFD Squad A's, only on a Mack CF Chassis.

Quoting Chris Sullivan-Irwin Wow! That really is something. Good job MM and also good job to Zak and Bruce. This is a first for a CF in my Book. I would say change the boom from Grey to White, other than that (since its a first of these in Lego) it's perfect!
Thanks Chris, this is a first for a Mack CF in the Lego community I believe, and also a first that is in front line service. Also in real life Mack CF snorkels were very rare. Zak O. built a HME Chicago style Squad some time ago, but as far as I know it never was a front line rig.

Quoting Matt Jacobsen Very interesting how you made the snorkel. I love that it is operational and can stay up. Other snorkels I've seen look nice but cant stand up without help. I may have to reference to this design for a future antique snorkel I've wanted to build for a long time.
Thanks Matt, the boom stays up, but just barely, I have to tweak it a little to make it more stable. But if you need help with building a snorkel, just ask.
