The wheel base needs to longer, the roof needs slightly more of a curve, and the C-pillars should be move 3 or 4 studs farther back. They should connect with the body of the car behind the rear wheels, not in front of them. Also, listen to Ape Fight. =) Keep it up!! |

In my opinion, you doesn't need more wider model.
Just take care to the right scale! Choose the right size wheels, headlamps etc...
Just one good advice:make grid on one of the car's picture, in the size of the lego bricks.
The take-off point would be the size of wheels.
Here is Ralph Savelsberg's 10 wide Passat and a grided blueprint.

The side? Make the rear waaay shorter and the roof longer. Would alao be cool to see some interior details , like some big bass speakers. Would be also good seeing the ground clearance lower. And since the passat is a 4- door sedan, and yours is in large scale, it should have 4 seats. Adding some rims would be nice. There. I hope i helped you at least a bit with your great car, Alex! Good luck at building! :D |

Ape gives very good advice. Also, I think it might be a little too low overall. |

The proportions are out. Print a side on picture of the real car and measure the distance in between the wheels, from the wheels to the back, and wheels to the front, boot length, bonnet length etc. Then turn these measurements into 'studs'. I.e, if the gap between the wheels is 20 studs, how many studs does the boot need to be? Hope that helps. No rating yet |

I think the wheelbase is too short. You need enough space for a pair of doors on each side. I'd say you need about 4 studs more for the right shape. The rest looks fine. Well done, so far! :-))
I will try that! :-) |
