Hi my friends, you will ask what is this creation ....
I do not know how it started, but certainly from my hatred of war.
I don't think in our society, every day it disappoints me more and more, but I really believe in the man and in his humanity ....
The humanity there is ... not stifle it with money.

quand les hommes vivront d amour.... there is a french song that carries this feeling very well, loosely translated it goes a bit like this, when men will live out of love, there will be no more sorrow... but, when it happens,we will be gone my brother. nice thoughs riccardo! |

Nicely done, I like the figure, I'm a bit more pessimistic, people are different so a conflict is never far away, sometimes it takes just a single spark
Thanks a lot my friend |

This is the reason why I like your MOCs so much Riccardo, you have this great gift to express powerful emotions with the LEGO elements. A great MOC with a strong message. As always talented and brilliant! |

Some cientists say Mankind is below a level 0 civilization, and to reach it, we need global leadership. But will we really get there someday, I mean with so many different cultures, languages, religions? Great MOC & message! |

Yes, it is a most thought provoking build. I myself think that it is so very tragic that humans have been around as long as they have and have yet to evolve to a more gracious state. But I am puzzled and do not know if I fully understand the reason for your use of the gradually decreasing height of the black pillars? :}
Thanks a lot my friend... the black pillars are like a stair and the human figure I had thought as if it were god descends to the earth and see what that wars do, and meditated on their cruelty and futility. |

Great sentiment. The figure reminds me very much of one of Giacometti's walking sculptures.
Thank you so much for having compared my creation of a statue of Giacometti. I went to see who is on Google Giacometti, and I must say that the similarity of my man walking, his statue is impressive. I had never heard of him, and I had never seen his work. Thank you so much for introducing me to a great artist like him .... I love the sculpture.Thanks a lot my friend ;o) |

Riccardo, I am a lover of words, and I normally have a lot of them. This one leaves me challenged to find the right words. I can't believe the emotional charge of this MOC. Didn't think it was possible in LEGO. Love the meaning behind the whole thing. I, too, hate, (I don't often use that word, but there is not a better one to describe this), war. I don't think that having the bigger army or the bigger weapons makes one right. The build is very well done, but thank you for using ABS to relay such a profound message. Well done.
Wow my friend... your words flatter me.. Thanks a lot... i'm very glad you think like me. ;o) |

Woah - love the white figure. A brilliant bit of art. Thought provoking too. I don't agree completely though; I too, hate war, and also think that no wars are necessary, in that if everyone treated one another equally we would have no fighting. But as this doesn't happen, because people treat one another as 'things', I think *sometimes* going to war is righteous. If someone was gassing me, my family and my race to death because of our ethnicity, I would want someone to come and help us. Sometimes war is the saviour of men. Anyhoo, 5 stars. Beautiful work.
Thanks a lot Ape ;o) |
