Thoy's entry

Thoy Bradley vs Legopard
Water Park: Build us a fun time water park complete with things like slides, a wave pool, a lazy river... slides! (does not HAVE to include all of these. They're just suggestions of things in a waterpark). What would your "epic" water park look like? Minifig scale would be preferable but micro/midi scale is acceptable.

First I have to say that I really liked to build my MOC for this category and tried to catch all the fun I always had in waterparks.

I decided to build a classic waterpark but to make a bit more than only square water basins. So I built a big waterworld with additonal and typical activities. Everything in a paradisiac location (with better weather than in Germany).

The Pardastic Waterworld is 140cm long and 50cm wide.
In the center is the big pool with a wave pool and lazy river in one. Here the grown-ups can enjoy.

On the right side we can find the kids-area. It includes a kids-pool with a elephant slide and a playground.

For drinks and snacks there is a bar with a terrace.

On the left is a volleyball court, a toilet and a changing room:

And now feel free to enjoy the other details.
Because of problems with my camera and the time the photos are a bit worse than usual but I think they are ok.

I also built a jump-tower:

Jump!

At last my favorite detail ;)

I hope you like it.

I also want to thank the "Chatseilschaft" for their helpful suggestions.
Thanks to Cran for borrowing me some bricks and Technix for his toilet-idea.

Best of luck to the left contestants.
Thanks for looking and reading.

There is always a solution without Customs!

Wow, wish I had looked at this one sooner. I think your take on a park is brilliant and stuffed full of superb details and innovative parts use, far too many to list. Each picture was another 'Oh wow that's clever!'. Congrats on advancing, now i'm going to check your R5 entry out!

Well done mate! This has a lot more of that 'fun' aspect to it, so a very deserved win you have. My only advice would be to take Shannons critique about cleanliness on board, from here on up you are only going to be against people whose collections match their skills. Watch out for that Heath guy, He will be upset you took me out before He got the chance ;) Good luck in the rest of the games. ~Thoy

Quoting Shannon Ocean You got my vote mate so it looks like you're going through to the next round. Both were great entries but yours was more fun :)

Excellent build, with lots of really interesting and daring techniques (like that clone trooper toilet!). Unfortunately, I kind of see your entry as more of a park with water features than a water park. While the playground equipment and such is well-built, I feel that it takes away from the build's focus. My vote goes to your opponent.

Quoting Chris Roach congrats you have got my vote! Thoy is hard to beat trust me I know! This was the hardest so far of the competition for me to call, but after flipping and comparring between builds i am giving my vote to you based on the fine and multiple details! . It really feels like a water park!
Thanks Chris! And yes, i belive you that Thoy isn't a simple opponent. Looking forward to the other votes.

Two excellent entries for the MOCOlympics. And now i don´t know to say it in English, so I write it in German: zwei fast gleichwertige Beiträge. Aber der Spaß kommt in deinem Moc mehr zum tragen. Viele kleine , nette Details (der Toilettenhelm bzw. Die Helmtoilette aber auch die Elefantenrutsche.) Ich drücke die daumen, das du weiterkommst. Matze2903

What a nice entry! So many fine details! E.g. the loo paper behind the toilet: will he find another one inside of the toilet? Good luck. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

This looks very promising. The sheer amount of details, more details and even more details are overwhelming (love the joke with the goblin kid). And all this in just 2 weeks? That is truely amazing. I think I have to put you away, you are becoming too good ;o)

As others have said, you have probably got this in the bag. As i said on my own entry, i felt it looked good but wouldnt be competitive in terms of the funpark aspect. Good luck, though i doubt you'll need it. -Thoy

Quoting Zabou =) Ps: I've got an AFOL who's still in the race... Some already gave a try at my little game to guess who he is... If you want to try, the first ones will get a little something! =)
Thank you for the kind words. Hmm. I would guess Tom Remy. 'pard

This is going to be a tough round. I like that you added some modern features like the bar and beach volleyball areas. That port-a-potty is great. However, I'm going to feel sorry once that clone gets his helmet back.
