About this creation
This is my private train, the lone star special. as the owner and ceo of both Southern pacific Lines and lima Locomotive Works, i needed a way to get safely around my rail empire. the best mode of transport for me was train as it is both comfortable and fast.
The lone star is headed up by SP#1111 or the J1. Next in the rake would be my specially made baggage car that had enough room inside to fit my car. After the baggage car is my private car,"Lone Star".

Then is my layout car,"Sunbeam".

After my layout car comes my lounge car,"Daylight".

next comes my diner and kitchen cars which i have built yet havn't got the time to take pics of them.
Finally comes my observation car,"Texas Special".

For the curved section of the Texas Special i would like to thank Shupp over on flickr for the idea from his exellant 20th century limited.

Quoting TF Twitch I just took a look at this in LDD, and WOW what an amazing job! I liked the clever way that you made the doors, and the model train layouts are awesome. The couches and luxury chairs are also great designs and I may use and/or modify them if I ever make luxury-class coaches of my own. You should take pictures of them and upload them so that you can show off all of the neat features. And the truck design is great as well, that is also very clever. My only question is can four axle trucks work on curves? I have personally never tried so that is why I am asking.
yes four axel trucks can go through curves that's why the j1's millipede tender wheels are separated into four axle chunks. and probably soon when I have the time I will update these pictures with newer ones and as you requested some interior shots. but I cant take all the credit some of it goes to shuppiluliumas over on Flickr and the talented members of the Lego train mocs pool.

Quoting TF Twitch Nice car/coach designs. I would like to see how their interiors are laid out, though. I will soon upload LDD files so you can figure out the 4-8-4 "Emerald Night knockoff", as you so aptly called it. :'( Haha.
well the observeation cars layout inside has lounging chairs that rotate in the curving part of it and a snack bar/table area filling up the rest of the car. my private car has a small kitchen area and a bedroom with a small layout that leads in to the layout car in the opposite end from the bedroom.the layout car has of course a model train layout in it with a daylight steamer and the santa fe supper cheif. the dome car has large comfy lookin chairs on one end with a tv and so far nothing in the other end.
