Taliarn APC
TinyTurtle
Transport
About this creation
This is the TAPC (Taliarn Armed Personnel Carrier) fondly known to the troops as the Tiny Turtle, due to its small size and rounded, humpbacked shape.
It is used as the prefered method of travel by the Taliarn Defense Forces. It can be used, (with small modifications), as an APC, mobile command center, or anti-aircraft launcher. It was designed as a small transport because the Taliarn Militia had been routed from their main base, and were being hunted everywhere on the planet, so they needed something small and dependable. It used to be an open-topped Police and Militia rover, but their current location is in the huge desert, where the extreme heat makes it impossible to have a open-topped vehicle. The roof and heavily armored sides are also excellent against even heavy fire, and are coated in a special paint that doesn't absorb heat. It is capable of holding four well-armed soldiers inside.
The back flaps open and a soldier can fire out the back. The sides have holders for shovels, (for desert terrain) or rifles.
It's wheels are bulletproof and are shadowed with metal plates for extra protection.
It has a small communications screen that flips down from the wall, and contains a few medical pieces for emergencies. The "Eyes" on the side, the white dishes with the black dots, are actually radio dishes, because most of the sattelites are taken over by the Plagors, so the radios need to be bigger
The whole project took me about ten hours in total to design and build.
It is somewhat easy to build, but designing was a bit hard, I just had this idea that I was playing with, then I drew some sketches, and built it off of them.
People, It is nice if you review, but please be logged in when you do!
I can't reply if you're not logged in.

The driver has a small lever next to the steering wheel, which controls the two nose mounted light machine guns.

There are also two antennae on top, for broadcasting signals, to relay to the base.

It has an extensive cooling and heating system, with vents located everywhere around it.

It's not called the Tiny Turtle for nothing!

Thanks for viewing! And thanks everyone for the high rating!!!

I really like this concept. I gave it a four only because I think it would be better to have some sort of track system for it instead of the wheels. Keep up the good work! |
