Modern military creations 4
These are some new weapons for my fictional nation, the Federal Coalition of Cheyenne The link to the gaming group its part of is on my home page.
About this creation
The newest Paramarine Corp tank, The Claymore 2A4.

The department of the army developed it under the code name Dragonett, and a prototype was shipped from Sioux falls to Newark air force base for test trails. The new tanks sleek ceramic composite armor could deflect RPG size weapons, not to mention its 360 degree APS for disabling enemy missiles. The new tank out performed the Claymore in terms of protection, and firepower. It is planned to go under the designation Claymore 2A4- and will most likely be equipped with even more advanced technology. The claymore 1 will remain in service until 2024.
The Claymore 1 is roughly 10 tons lighter, and is more easily transported, not to mention that it costs much less. The original costs 3 million dollars, while the 2A4 costs 6.2 million. This will make the newest tanks in shorter numbers, since the older tanks still perform wonderfully, despite the new one being superior.

This is the Chelvara corporations newest addation to the coalitions military, the Hound armored security vehicle. Its based off of the Cadillac gage commando.

Its armed with a 20mm machine gun, and a 40mm chain fed grenade launcher.

The ParaMariners, and air, land, and sea fighting force. They are the most elite soldiers in the military, aside from spec ops. They fight for freedom, and justice despite there harsh look. They are strictly anti communist, and belive that all people deserve rights no matter what ethnic group.

Most importantly they are all grizzled vets picked from the toughest infantry.

The newest Knightfall class super carrier uses an advanced trimaran hull for faster deployment. It can carry 4000 troops, and up to 60+ aircraft.

The Anchorage amphibious assault ships can carry a total of 4 LCAC, and 30 aircraft, along with 1850 troops, and navy personnel.
They are armed with 8 AA systems, and 4 missile tubes.

The Prince Ferris class LCAC can carry a total of 2 tanks, or a more appropriate 8 APCs, or 12 ASV. Its armed with four U60 machine guns for defense. It can also carry 200 men.

The Tomahawk class stealth cruiser is an advanced sea borne ship that uses radar absorbing material, and sound dampening technology. Its hull is covered in a sound absorbing shaped coating. Its armed with 50 cruise missiles, four deployable anti ship missile launchers, and a deployable 155 mm cannon.

The Vangaurd class nuclear attack sub is a advanced stealthy ship equipped with a silent propulsion engine, 4 torpedo tubes, and 10 missile silos. They are also used for anti ship capability using advanced supercavitating torpedoes

The Blacksword cargo transport can carry 200 troops, or 80, and an APC, or two ASV.

The Blacksword AWACs is equipped with a 40mm bofers, and a advanced long range radar system.
These are used as mobile command centers, and to guide aircraft and ships. It can also be used as a submarine hunter using sonar, and can drop Bueys and torpeados.

The Blacksword Ground Assault Weapons Platform, is equipped with a 40mm bofers, a 30mm gattling gun, and a 105mm cannon. These are used to level targets beyond recognition.

All three aircraft have a long range, and a decent speed. The transport can be converted into a mid air refeuler. They are all equipped with countermeasures.

Thats it, I rushed the photos, and the LDD pics looked a lot better on Imageshack.

Quoting Evan Constantine Talk about rage-quitting, I think you wrote the book. Way to quit your own group when you get called out on your own hypocrisy. What I did was un-emotionally quit a group full of drama-queens who can't decide on the rules of a silly game. You never welcomed me as a new player and now I understand why. I frankly find you rude. Good luck!
You have no idea what your talking about, so I dont care what you say. You obviusly are not in the loop, nor will you ever be now, good luck yourself. The rules are paved with stone, not my fault your blind eyes cant see that.

Quoting Matthew McCall Fantastic work! The tank is really well built, and the armored car has some really nice angles. All the naval ships are top-notch, and I'm still not sure how to make a mini airplane even close to the quality you have acchieved. My one and only complaint is (you guessed it), the tank turret is a stud-or-two too long.
Thanks, I still have more creations to post to.

Quoting Matthew Sylvan You did an amazing work again. I hope you will get some bigger tires in the future. However, I found the turret a bit big too, atleast compared to my building scale.
I guess a claymore 2A2 is in order, I will make a new turret, maybe I will base it off the Olifant Mk.2

Quoting John Stahlman Nice work once again! The tank's turret is not too big at all. With the amount of radar and sensor equipment, the crew, not to mention ammo that would need to be accomodated, the turret would need to be quite large. I think you'll find, as I did, that with all the radar and targeting devices on the roof, your 20mm gun will have limited rotation and thus a limited field of fire without rotating the whole turret. My only criticism is with the featureless frontend of the tank. Maybe throw some lights or tow hooks on there? This is not to take anything away from this excellent modern tank. Bravo!
Thanks the machine gun can only cover the left half of the tank, but it does pivot up, and down quite well. To bad nobody really liked the tank, Im going to have to start working on the claymore 2A2.

Great creations! Id just make the turret on the tank a bit smaller, it seems big on the chassis. And the APC's wheels seem too thin for it. Still, great creations you have. And do you think Arkaden can get a few of those GAWPs? They seem powerful.

Mr. Squid, As with some of your other vehicles, I think those wheels (with tires) are just to small for your excellent chassis. What I really like about this post, it the content. It is an attempt to capture, in one single post, MOST of the capabilities of one nations military. All of the individual MOCs are unrelated (soldiers, vehicles, aircraft all together?). But its cool because it allows other players to assess your forces at a glance. It's a very good idea. Attack!

Quoting PALADIN . As P4perweight already sai, the tank's turret is too big compared to the hull. Otherwise, the tank is extremely good. Also, the APCs wheels seem kinda small/thin. Anyways, keep up the good work man!
Thanks for the comment. The ASV "not APC, its a scout car" Is a near perfect scale to its real life counterpart, And a lot of modern tanks are similar in turret size. The turret is only half the size of the tanks hull.

Thanks for the comment. No the Coalition doesnt trade aircraft, or ships. You could say they are in short supply.
