Another custom car, but at the same scale as my last. This is the Sportster Track Master 2000; it is designed to be one of those track cars that are made for the road, like the Ariel Atom, and the BAC Mono. This model comes with lots of details, opening and closing flaps (air brake and DCW wings). So, enjoy the photos...
About this creation
Front
Side
Rear
The engine is a small 3.5L V8, it was designed to be as small as possible, but still produce over 400 BHP
This is the car with the body pannels removed, the ducting all around the car is designed to feed cool air to the engine so it preforms at maximum output
This is a DCW (Downforce control wing) there is one on either side of the car, these deploy at low speeds to stabilise the car
The air brake deploys under heavy breaking
The car sits on road legal track tyres, meaning you get lots of grip on a circut but if the road is wet, you loose a lot of grip
The underside of the car has been designed to channel air to the enormous rear diffuser
The diffuser sucks you onto the road as you go along, meaning you never really get any oversteer
