I've been toying with a mecha lion for years and while this isn't a direct copy of Kyle Peckham's Zoids inspired Liger. it does borrow several ideas from it.
The head is a hybrid design, partly mine and partly Kyle's, the limbs use the same basic hinge but I've dressed them differently and the body is entirely mine, this was mostly due to Kyle using a couple of parts and techniques which aren't possible in LDD.
I tried to create a slightly different colour palette from either the official ZOIDS sets and Kyle's own, plus I love black and gold together.

NOTE: As pointed out by Kyle his creations were inspired by Apocalust. So credit needs to go to both of these guys. Looking through Apocalust's flickr gallery I realised my design also takes a great deal of inspiration from this design. Leo Kaiser
Yay Zoids!!!!! Impressive use of LDD. It looks kind of like a shield liger or a liger aero because of the head. I agree with Mr. Smith in saying that we need more of these on here!!!! Great job though!
Oh, now I wasn't expecting this! Very well done, designing these things in LDD seem pretty hard (compared to normal bricks). I was actually inspired by Apocalust on Flickr (http://www.flickr.com/photos/apocalust) with his Zoid builds, so most of the credit belongs to him and not me. I do like the color scheme on this, very original. It does seem like something that would have shown up on the TV show though. I do love the work on the torso that you did Andros, that shaping is pretty cool. Definitely worth my time to look at, I'm not disappointed! - Kyle
