This is a poster that I've made for Alex-Darkrai on DA.
Everything and I mean everything was perfectly flat, and I changed the perspective of every element to give the image a sense of depth.
There are a total of 8 image layers. [That's a lot, lol.]
He might have me change it a bit, I'm not sure though.
About this creation
The room is well lit, don't you think?

Well what I meant was that there might be a guy that has been anticipating your self-MOC's completion and he doesn't like it. He could get mad and be a huge jerk, BUT I really think it is gonna be awesome.
Ah, I understand, lol.
Thanks! I wouldn't have even told people about it if I wasn't sure it would end up being the absolute crown jewel of my MOCing career, and that it would be as epic as I could make it for the size. Plus I had been planning it and many other MOCs for over a year. |

But you might come across the guy who had to wait that long, is a jerk, won't like it, and will get mad. But by the sounds of it he is gonna be super kool.
I don't fully understand what you meant, with this part of the message. Could you please elaborate what you meant? |

Making progress buddy! And I counted and I have 5 total MOCs to post, a few experimental techniques, and some tablescraps. And I am just DYING to see your self MOC when he's done. I still want to make him to!
Nice. :D As soon as he's completed I'll post him, then you can make your version. Even though I haven't made either of his arms or hands I have pretty much figured them out entirely. If all pans out like I hope he should have fully posable hands and fingers. I have also decided to upgrade his lower torso section, since I've figured out how to make it much better. I just NEED to acquire the parts... Darn you Christmas time, you made it so I couldn't finish him this year! |

Robo, remember my old toxic reapa revamp? I revamped my revamp. It is cooler now, trust me. I also bought Mutran and Vican off of Ebay lately. He is cool.
Looking forward to it! Let me know when you post it, along with the others. Btw, The current configuration of my Self MOC's head including the mask has over 20 pieces, most of them quite small. The head's armor isn't quite done yet though |

Not a bad photo edit. Usually one of the main indicators of elements of a picture not meshing well together is lighting and shading. The key objects in that scene for instance could have benefited with shadows based on the light direction of the object. This ensures a level of depth and pretty much makes things feel like they're not just floating above things. Consistent light direction is another, and while different sources will have different lighting directions, it's best to keep these going in relatively the same directions. if this is not possible and the shape has to be as it has to, you'd adjust the shadows and even it out so that you can apply lighting and shadows anyway you want.
I agree. However Gimp wouldn't allow me to do that whatsoever. It was supposed to be a darkened room lit by the fire. I know how it should look, but my program couldn't do lighting effects. Someday in the far future I might come back and fix it with another program. |

Thanks, lol. I myself consider this one to be a fail. Can't wait to see 'em!.. I would be MOCing like crazy, but as you know, I have a pathetic amount of monies atm. |

I think that the 3-d affect aspect could be worked with a little, because it looks like you ripped pieces from a magazine and glued them together ( I apologize ) But I have to agree wihth the comment below that the swords are amazing, obviously my favorite is the dark black and silver one. But you should get more credit.
I agree with you completely. Unfortunately for me though, it was my first time ever using depth perception effects and I'm a novice at photo-manipulation anyways. |
