Hey everyone! Here's another rod for ya and it's a '31 Ford Model-A! I spent ages researching '31 Model-A's so that I could get every last detail into this rod! For the first time ever, the width of the rod at the cowl and firewall is 12-wide but as it get's toward the rear of the rod it goes to 14-wide!It's black, has a huge Flathead V8 in it(easily my most detailed engine!), same size wheels, chopped, channled, shaven, Mexican blanket seat cover, exterior door hinges(I havn't seen anyone use this idea befor but please correct me if I'm wrong) fuel tank in the back and heaps more! The engine is the main part of this rod, like pretty much all rods, and I've studied many Flatheads to get just the right look for the engine! I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed building it and of course, there are more rods to come soon!=) Happy building everyone!

GREAT job! Your best built Rod to date, and as you're amongst the best car builders now, this is therefore one of the best Rods on MOCpages. Love bodywork, a good step up from simple straight lines in width, love the interior and LOVE the engine. All round a superb creation, one of my favourites this year. 5 stars : ) P.S. Two ROTM awards in a row is a possibility, but in the mean time the V8 Club has a new Featured Engine
WOW! Ummmm.... I don't know what to say! Thank you soooo much Ape for your amazing comment! Thanks again mate! |

Hey everyone!
Thanks for all your wonderful comments! Now that I think about it, it is quite similar in some ways to Austin's. Anyway, thanks for the feedback! |

Very cool! And rather different from Austin's once you compare the 2. They're both black with open engines.... and that looks to be all. I really like the blacked out grille and the steering workings. Nice seats, too! |

Another fantastic rod from you, buddy! I love everything about it, interior and engine are fantastic! (I don't see too many similarities here: Two great builders, same scale and nearly the same type, but the details are completely different.) |
