NnoVVember 2012: A mod of my 4-wide 1989 Tim Burton Batmobile. Now it can convert into a Vic Viper.
About this creation
A tribute to Nnenn: The 4-wide Vic Viper Batmobile
I had the idea a while ago: Why not take the 1989 Batmobile and convert it into a Vic Viper? :-)) So I made the front a little longer, added a tail fin and two rear wings... This is a Vic Viper shot but not a Vic Viper, yet. This is the Batmobile mode for high speed pursuite on the highways. The three fins stabilize the batmobile at high speed.
This is the Vic Viper mode for sharp corners. Two of the fins become rear wings for more downforce.
The rocket engine: Whoosh!
And another view from the front.
Some more pictures of the Batmobile mode: A rear view
And a side view
So this is my 4-wide LEGO Vic Viper Batmobile. I hope you like it:-))
I don't know how I missed this before the end of Novvember. What a cool idea, and excellent execution. When I first saw the pic, I was having trouble seeing the front end, and was wondering how you were able to put prongs on the batmobile and keep it looking good. But when I saw the larger pic, I saw that it actually looked pretty natural like that. Nice touch with the fire coming out of the engine in the back. So...does it fly?
Love this! There are some great techniques in there, which help make it look as realistic as it can get (being a 4-wide)! Have you seen my latest Rod? http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/346963 Again sweet ride!!
